When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the following personal data:
Your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property you are renovating, details of the renovation works, your preferred move-in date, expected duration of stay, family size, pet information, and any additional information you choose to provide in the free text field.
We also collect the name of the RenovateStay property you are enquiring about.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and assess your suitability for a managed stay
- To match you with an appropriate property
- To communicate with you about your booking and stay
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we process your data on the following legal bases:
- Consent: By submitting the enquiry form and ticking the confirmation checkbox, you consent to us processing your data for the purpose of handling your enquiry.
- Legitimate interest: We have a legitimate interest in managing and responding to enquiries about our properties.
- Contractual necessity: If you proceed with a stay, processing your data is necessary for the performance of the accommodation agreement.
We may share your personal data with:
- Property owners: Where the property you are enquiring about is owned by a third party operating under the RenovateStay managed-service model, we will share relevant enquiry details with the property owner.
- Service providers: Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Enquiry form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify. Netlify operates under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you have given separate, explicit consent.
Form submission data is processed by Netlify, Inc., whose servers are located in the United States. This transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Where further safeguards are required, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) apply.
Enquiry data is retained for 12 months from the date of submission, or for the duration of your stay plus 12 months, whichever is longer. After this period, your data is securely deleted. If your enquiry does not proceed to a stay, we delete your data within 12 months of your last contact with us.
Under GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights:
- Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: You can ask us to delete your personal data.
- Restriction: You can ask us to restrict how we process your data.
- Portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. The only cookies that may be set are essential cookies required for the functioning of the Netlify hosting platform. No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are used.
